In just a few short weeks, Catfish And The Bottlemen make their return to the UK, after a round of shows in the US. Now I have never been shy about the amount of love and respect I have for this band and the incredible live show they put on.
Just over a year after the release of their debut album, The Balcony, I caught the North Wales boys on the last night of their completely sold out tour, as they filled Southampton’s Guildhall with the most infectious amount of joy. Then, in May, a week before the release of their second album, The Ride, I saw them again, and left just as buzzing as I had the first time round, rushing home to pre order their album, which reached #1 in the UK charts less than a week after its release.
Now, they’re back, armed with two full albums to choose from. Let’s be honest, there’s not a bad song on either of them, so how could they possibly fail to deliver yet another incredible tour? After a summer of festivals, including a pretty memorable performance at Glastonbury (watch the whole thing below for a damn good way to spend an hour), and a return to Boardmasters after bailing last year to finish recording their album, I have no doubt that Catfish and The Bottlemen will return stronger than ever.
